Over the years Piner Baptist Church has had many memorials providing hymnals, a steeple on the building, redecorating the kitchen, a movie projector, new crosses in the windows of the sanctuary and many other worthwhile projects. The church is very grateful to the families and individuals who made these possible.

Physical improvements of the church have been expanding and paving the parking area, new heating and air conditioning units, remodeling the parsonage, installing ceiling fans in the auditorium and many more.

Major changes are taking place daily at Piner Baptist Church as God continues to bless this body of believers. Sunday School enrollment is now 200 and regular church attendance is 400. Praise God! Piner Baptist Church is currently building a new building. Dirt started moving April 2001.

 A mission statement has been adopted of ;

“Reaching the world with the hope of Jesus Christ through the power of God's Holy Spirit.”

On March 31, 2002 we had Easter Service in the new building. Nearly 700 people attended.

We celebrated our 50th Anniversary in May.

In the summer of 2004 the personnel committee started in search of a Pastor Of Administration due to the incredible amount of various ministries that had started at PBC. In October 2004, Wayne Diehl was called to that position.

Several members went on a mission trips through a partnership with International Edifying Christ Ministries and Scott Mcdowell. They traveled to Malawi - Africa, Romania, the Ukraine and India. In 2005 the church decided to help build an orphanage in Malawi. We set our monetary goal and God provided. We returned again in 2006 on another mission trip.

   Dan Ison decided to leave the associate pastor position and we started searching to find someone to fill the associate/youth pastor position.

   Bro. BJ Donahue came to Piner Baptist Church in September of 2006 as our new associate pastor/youth leader. BJ was ordained April 1, 2007.

   In February 2007 Bro. Richard Collins felt he was being called by God to leave Piner Baptist Church.

   Piner called Bro. Ron Chastain to serve as interim pastor while God provides a permanent pastor for us.
